Announcing Volt Consulting - Managed Service Programs

I am pleased to announce the launch of a new Volt Information Sciences, Inc. organization, Volt Consulting™ - Managed Service Programs (Volt Consulting MSP). This new business group will provide unparalleled consulting and management design and delivery services to users of software-independent MSP solutions. This new organization is built on the foundation of decades of human capital management expertise and experience from across the Volt Information Sciences organization.

What was the impetus for this change?  For over thirty-five years, Volt companies have been leaders and pioneers in building and delivering world-class managed service programs (MSP). The successes of these human capital-related business units propelled break-out growth and contributed to the success of the Volt organization. In early 2009, Volt Information Sciences, Inc. (VIS) initiated a comprehensive internal project.  The goal: realign all the resources critical to the success of our client’s MSP and develop a leading edge solution that creates a distinct competitive advantage to exceed the comprehensive requirements of our customers. To architect this solution we brought together the most talented functional experts from across the VIS organization. This cross-functional team established ten different project sub-teams, each focused on the specialized and unique service elements comprising a leading edge, global MSP solution.  The result of the collaborative efforts of the group was Volt Consulting MSP, constructed to best serve the marketplace by providing incomparable consultative expertise, greater breadth of options and unprecedented flexibility.

Volt Consulting - Managed Service Programs will operate separate and independent from Volt’s VMS solution and Volt’s VWS talent delivery capability.  All managed service programs will be designed by solution architects using Six Sigma tools and reflecting the voice of our clients. ProcureStaff will continue to operate as ProcureStaff Technologies, a stand-alone technology company focused on delivering human capital software.
