The International Business Awards judges named Volt Consulting – Managed Service Programs a finalist in the 2010 competition. Out of hundreds of entrants, Volt Consulting MSP is one of four organizations in contention for the IBA’s Stevie Award for “Best New Service”.
To solve the significant challenges facing organizations in the selection and implementation of the best possible human capital management solution, Volt Consulting MSP launched an innovative service offering known as Solution Architecture. The no-cost offering provides expert human capital management consultants – Solution Architects –employing a modified, Six Sigma House of Quality methodology to help prospective clients determine their precise needs before producing a request for proposal (RFP), ensuring they make the most informed purchasing decision. It helps organizations avoid making costly errors in the engagement of managed service providers for contingent labor and other services procurement. It was this valuable service offering that was the basis for Volt Consulting MSP’s nomination.
“To date, numerous prospective client organizations – Global 1000 enterprises – have taken advantage of this incisive and eye-opening service,” said Volt Consulting MSP President, Larry Kaylor. Kaylor added, “The output of the exercise showed some that the Volt Consulting MSP solution was not the best fit for their particular requirements, while others were identified as excellent candidates for our products and services. However, all users of the Solution Architect service were categorically positive about its findings and the benefits they derived from participating in the exercise.”
