Volt Consulting MSP, a leading services procurement organization, is pleased to announce that two of its executives are among the finalists for the 2008 Women’s Business Awards. Co-founder and Executive Vice President Janet Whitcomb is a finalist in the Lifetime Achievement category for her decades of leadership, innovation and impact on the field of human capital supply chain management. Julie Smith, Head of Volt Consulting MSP Managed Services Programs in EMEA, is a finalist in the category of “Best Executive EMEA.” Both Ms. Whitcomb and Ms. Smith were also named “Pros to Know” by Supply and Demand Chain Executive magazine (Smith for 2008 and Whitcomb for 2007).

Winners will be announced at the awards presentation dinner November 14, 2008 at the Marriott Marquis in New York City. The latest recognition for Stevie Awards, as American, International and Women’s Business Awards statuettes are referred to, represents the third such recognition for Volt Consulting MSP in 2008. The company was recognized with finalist designations by both the American Business Awards and the International Business Awards in the “Most Innovative Company” category earlier in the year.
